Welcome to The Falcon Inn
The Falcon Inn nestles with the heart of the village of Fotheringhay, famous as the birth place of Richard III and the place where Mary Queen of Scots ended her days after being held captive in Fotheringhay castle for 12 years.
Sourcing fine ingredients, locally where possible, The Falcon Inn's team of chefs are tasked to prepare the a la carte and bar menus to perfection. The Falcon Inn and it's enthusiastic team of staff hope to entice you back again and again.
Changing frequently, the bar food is traditional and wholesome, whilst the a la carte menu offers the discerning guest a meal to remember in the charming restaurant or conservatory overlooking the beautiful garden and church.
The Falcon Inn is also a genuine “local" with a Tap Bar where the village darts team drink plenty of real ales.
The Cottage, a private function room, is ideal for parties of up to 30 people.
The adjacent Fotheringhay church is an outstanding landmark and plays host to many classical concerts. We recommend the lovely walks from Fotheringhay along the River Nene into the surrounding countryside and villages.
