Cancellations for private functions and speciality menus policy

Deposits paid (or settlement of room hire) for private bookings are transferrable, in relation to date changes, but are not refundable.

Functions that have preordered food are liable for the cost of guests  meal, including but not limited to, pre ordered drink, who cannot attend, if The Falcon Inn haven't been informed within 24 hours of the booking date. Individual guests who inform The Falcon Inn between 25-72 hours prior to the booking date are liable for a payment of minimum £10 per person to cover the cost of specially ordered ingredients and/or stock. The Falcon Inn reserves the right to charge more in the event of speciality orders.

The Falcon Inn’s right to cancel reservations

The Falcon Inn may reserve the right to cancel, or change details of your reservation (such as time or dining area) at any time with immediate effect by giving you notice by email or telephone call. We will issue refunds where any pre payment has been made in the event of cancellation. The Falcon Inn is not liable for any compensation to the guests in the event cancellation.

The Falcon Inn will not be liable to the customer if, for reasons such as, but not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or government intervention, we cannot fulfil the booking.

Booking, dining and visiting policy

We strongly recommend that reservations are made in advance and are confirmed by The Falcon Inn prior to your visit.

In the event of you cancelling your reservation within 24 hours of your booking, a £10 per person cancellation charge will apply.

We cannot guarantee availability on the day of your visit, or without confirmation. The Falcon Inn is not liable for any compensation in the event of a booking not being confirmed.

We would also ask you to please notify the restaurant if you are delayed, with as much notice as achievable, or we may release the table 15 minutes after the reservation time.

The Falcon Inn operates a strict no smoking policy of any kind, including e-cigarettes on the premises. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

Failure to comply with the policy shall entitle us to ask you to vacate the premises. You must leave the site immediately, without compensation. You will be liable for payment of the bill of any items or services you have received or have ordered up to and including the time of leaving. You shall be liable for any costs of damage to the premises or property, incurred by you and/or your guests or third party, arising from failure to comply with this policy.

Issues with your visit

Please note that The Falcon Inn will not offer refunds following a visit for any issues or complaints made retrospectively. We ask guests to politely inform us immediately if something is not right so that we can and rectify the issue. We regret that complaints made after the bill has been paid, or in the event of invoice, once you have left the premises, as feedback and no monetary refund or discount will be offered.

Gift vouchers

A gift voucher can be used as payment. Please note change can not be given. If you do not bring your original voucher with you, it has expired or has been stolen or lost, it cannot be replaced or reprinted.

In the case, your voucher cannot be used your bill must be settled using an alternative method of payment prior to vacating The Falcon Inn.

Vouchers can not be exchanged for any value in monies.

Opening hours

Opening hours can be found on our opening hours section of The Falcon Inn’s website. The Falcon Inn reserves the right to change these with immediate effect at our discretion. The Falcon Inn cannot be liable for any compensation.

In the event of any dispute arising out of the interpretation of these Terms the decision of the Company shall be final.
